Mariano Martinez first got his taste of dance while battling and free-styling on the Streets of the well known Himalayas at Coney Island’s Astroland Park.
After winning several battles, he decided to try his hand at choreography. Putting his Caribbean background to use Mariano is not only well versed in Hip Hop. He also puts his knowledge of Salsa, African, House, Bachata, Dance Hall, Punta, Soca, and Street Jazz to great use, allowing him to teach internationally.

He first began choreographing for Quinceañeras and Sweet Sixteens in 1999. He instantly realized that he was doing two things that he loved: dancing and empowering the youth. He has taken his love of dance and his field of study, Psychology, and created an impactful formula know as the #YouthEmpowermentThroughDance formula.
Not only does he prepare the youth that he works with to shine for their Quince/Sweet 16, and or stage presentations, he prepares them to shine throughout LIFE.
With over 20 years in the business, and 15 years as an Entrepreneur, Mariano has choreographed hundreds of Quinces and Sweet 16's, countless stage presentations for youth and Artist alike, and is now instrumental in Creating Dance curriculums for Schools, Non-profits, and Youth organizations.
He now serves as CEO of J-Dove Productions Inc. managing Administration, Dancers, Choreographers, and Teaching Artists.
He is thankful to God for enlarging his territory and is committed to giving back through his Dance Ministry in Youth work and helping others grow in the Dance and Choreography Industry.
His coaching and counsel has resulted in Countless Youth, Dancers, and Choreographers becoming Entrepreneurs in Various fields.
